Kelly L. King is an American writer, director and showrunner who is best known for his aggressive visual style. His music videos, commercials, short films, and series work feature an eclectic mix of talent from Journey, to Jessica Alba; Cold Play, Lucas Grabeel, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Scars on 45, Acidic, and Phillip Glass.

King mentored with High School Musical director Kenny Ortega, and Bridesmaids director Paul Feig early in his career. Both of their influences can be seen in his work. 

In the 360 | VR space King creates immersive experiences for Google, Daydream and YouTube Red; winning a Streamy Award for Best New VR Series in 2016. As a 360 VR director, King has invented groundbreaking methods to elevate spherical storytelling.

Kelly King is a long-time contributor to the kiva.org foundation which provides microloans to the people around the world who need it most.
