Steve started his career as a Copywriter working for DDB, a large American advertising agency where he wrote award winning commercials for some of the world’s biggest brands.

After 7 years, he left the agency to focus more on directing and very quickly became one of Britain’s top commercials directors. He has directed over 500 commercials with budgets ranging from £5000 to £1,5m for companies such as, Fiat, Ikea, Boots, British Airways, Sky, Diet Coke,  Amazon and Vodafone. His online ‘Agent Provocateur’ lingerie commercial featuring Kylie Minogue achieved over 350m hits, making it one of the most downloaded commercials of all time.

Steve recently shot his first feature film - ‘Keeping Rosy’.  He also co-wrote the script. The film got a theatrical release and was recently shown on BBC1 where it remained in the ‘Iplayer most viewed’ for 2 weeks with over 700,000 views.

He has recently found himself in demand as a director who can work with big names. These include Idris Elba, Jeremy Clarkson, Tony Blair, Sir David Attenborough, Gary Oldman and Julie Walters. Steve has a proven track record in all aspects of the creative process. From concept to script writing to directing and post production.

Steve’s still photography has won numerous awards and was recently selected for Dazed Magazine’s ‘The Present Tense’ exhibition.
